Boiler Feed Systems
Our vertical and horizontal feed tanks feature heavy gauge steel construction that provide ample feedwater storage capacity. A float operated make-up valve. A high suction pipe that prevents sediment from entering pump, increasing life of pump impeller and raceway. Water level gauge. Turbine pump driven by heavy duty drip-proof motor. Provisions for thermometer and sparge tube.
Blowdown separators
The Columbia separator design incorporates a water seal at the outlet which permits the operator to introduce cold water from the bottom to mix with the hot water and boiler steam in the separator. This reduces the outlet temperature to a level that makes it safe for discharge.
